MERCY_BBNAIJA WINNER

LAMBO WON!! I’M SCREAMING!! CAN YOU TELL? (#BBNAIJA)

Oh wow! It has definitely been a ride, guys! 99days are finally over and Mercy Eke made history as the first woman to ever win Big Brother Nigeria!

Let me drop a little biography about our favourite Lamborghini

MERCY EKEFull name, Mercy Eke is a 26year old businesswoman and video vixen that hails from Imo state but resides in Lagos state. She loves cooking, swimming, dancing and travelling. She has proven to be a strong woman who picks herself up and keeps pushing no matter the circumstance.

Her journey to stardom began 3months ago when the Big Brother Naija competition started. She entered the house full of life and energy, entertaining us with her funny ways, Igbo-American accent and bodacious curves. Mercy got into the house crushing on Nelson and Gedoni, both Ex housemates. However, both men didn’t seem to be into her POWER COUPLEand she settled for Ike, the ‘resident bad boy’, who was friends with her for a few weeks before their relationship became the longest in the house. Mercy and Ike became the Bonny and Clyde of BBNaija and they were as loving as they were mischievous while together in the house.

Mercy was the life of the party! From her alluring outfiLIFE OF THE PARTYts to her sensual dance moves, she sure made an impression on the housemates and viewers. Saturday night parties were incomplete without her giving it to us back to back. Her waist and bum shaking moves became what several Nigerians looked forward to. She was so hot on the dance floor that she was dubbed “Lamborghini Mercy”, a nickname that has since stuck.

The last week of the game was such a rollercoaster of events for Mercy; she was involved in a dirty brawl with Ex housemate Tacha that led to the edition’s first and only disqualification. She also got a feel of Biggie’s wrath for breaking the house rule and getting two strikes on Friday night. On Sunday, September 29, 2019, her favourite bad boy, Ike, got evicted alongside Ex housemate Elozonam during the 13th Sunday Live eviction night; we saw her breakdown in tears. The following Monday, just when the video vixen was hoping to waltz into the end of the show in high spirit, she was broken again when Diane, an Exhousemate and her good friend got evicted. I could literally feel her pain.

Nevertheless, Lambo didn’t let herself drown in sadness, she held her head high, went on with the activities of the game, partying like the queen she is and on Sunday, 6th October 2019, at the grand finale,  emerged the winner of the 4th Edition of the Big Brother Naija show. Other housemates that made it to the finale include Mike(1st runner up), Frodd(2nd runner up), Omashola and Seyi coming in the 4th and 5th position respectively.

It was such an amazing moment for millions of her fans all over the country. Of course, her favourite bad boy joined her on stage as well as her good friend Diane, to bask in the euphike-mercyoria of the moment. I am most certainly rooting for the ‘Merike’ ship to sail to its final destination so I can fill the internet with my ‘Awwwwns’ and ‘God When’ comments. Also, I cannot wait to see all that she would go on to accomplish in life with the platform she has been given.

Voting pollRumours have it that If Ex housemate Tacha did not get disqualified, it would have been a tough one to pick a winner. Well, I guess we would never know. But comparing both poll statistics, what do you think? I would love to know in the comments down below.

In other news, I think I would be giving BBNaija a shot next year. What do you think? I would definitely write my way to the auditions and hopefully win! LOL! Pray for me guys.
